A brown sign that says "TRAIL" with an arrow pointing left hangs on a thin pine tree along a hiking trail in the woods.

Somewhere along the line, "marketing" became a dirty word. It's deceptive. It's sneaky. It's disingenuous.

But it doesn't have to be.

Marketing is more than flashy sales gimmicks, social media posts, and eye-watering signage (though it can include that if you'd like). It's your product or service. It's the place where you sell it or provide it. It's your pricing structure. And, yes, it's how you promote it. More than that, though, an integrated marketing strategy tells a story and finds just the right customers at just the right time.

I work with small business owners and nonprofit leaders who know they need marketing support but don't know where to start or feel overwhelmed by the options. By taking the time to dive into your organization's needs and goals to create a marketing plan that's attainable for you and specific to your customers, we'll work together toward sustainable action and growth. Think of it as peace of mind for your marketing activities... seeing through the trees of marketing activities, including customer relationship management, digital engagement, and offline promotion, to the forest of increased growth.

You have enough on your to-do list.

Hi, I’m Leah

Have we met?

Class of 2008

I own a small business, too, and have worked for them in different phases of my career, along with major corporations, nonprofits, startups, government agencies, and schools (yep, I've made a few moves). For over 15 years, I’ve been in the business of marketing, and I’ve learned a thing or two in my time.

Beyond that, I know what it’s like to wonder where the next client is coming from, wonder if I’m paying my taxes properly, and wonder how to make it all work with a family depending on me. I’m not going to make blanket recommendations that ignore the reality of running a business or nonprofit—a marketing plan won’t work unless it’s tailored to your needs and goals. That’s the stuff that gets me excited about marketing, and what drives me to serve small business owners and nonprofit leaders day in and day out.

When I’m not nerding out about marketing strategy, you can find me traveling around New England and beyond with my husband, three kids, and dog or getting lost in a story by way of a good book, TV series, or movie franchise.
